Each Tuesday morning at 7:20 am Alaska, I join KBYR AM700‘s The Michael Dukes Show to discuss the latest in Alaska oil and fiscal issues. This Tuesday I sat in for Michael as guest host for the day and used the entire 7am block to discuss fiscal policy. I start the hour with a 13 minute discussion of what we should take away from Michael’s discussion with Revenue Commissioner Sheldon Fisher the day before about what is driving the Administration’s fiscal policy (see The Administration’s ‘let them eat cake’ fiscal policy, https://goo.gl/tREW8F), and then former Rep. and current Lt. Gov. candidate Lynn Gattis joins for the remainder of the hour to take a deeper dive into fiscal issues.
