Welcome to The Weekly Top 3 — our look at the top 3 things on our mind this week — for the week of October 15, 2018.

The Weekly Top 3 is a regular segment on The Michael Dukes Show. I join Michael on the Show each Tuesday from, now 6:20-7am for a discussion between the two of us about the three issues. The Show broadcasts on FacebookLive and via streaming audio from the Show’s website weekdays from 6-8am.

This week we start with a discussion about a new “Information Paper” on the PFD from the Legislature’s Legislative Finance Division (at 1:55), and then turn to our Top 3 issues: (1) our growing concern with Mike Dunleavy’s budget numbers (at 8:20), (2) why that concern makes the Senate District O race between incumbent Peter Micciche and Challenger Ron Gillham even more important (at 23:00), and (3) how Jared Kushner’s use of tax loopholes matters to the national fiscal policy debate (31:28).
