The Weekly Top 3 (4.23.2018)

Welcome to The Weekly Top 3 for the week of April 23, 2018, our look at the top 3 things on our mind this week.

The Weekly Top 3 is a regular segment on The Michael Dukes Show. The Show broadcasts on FacebookLive and via streaming audio from the Show’s website weekdays from 9-11am. I join Michael on the Show each Tuesday from 9:15-10am for a discussion between the two of us about the three issues.

This week we focus on (1) our analysis of how Alaska legislators are dodging personal responsibility for a proportionate share of the costs of government spending (at 3:19), (2) a question that is arising during the discussion of oil tax credit bonds: Why are at least some Alaska House R’s supporting a proposal that will make Alaska’s future spending problems even worse (at 27:13), and (3) a look at what’s going on with oil prices, and is the recent rise sustainable (48:21).

The segment is at the YouTube clip above. For those that prefer the audio version, it is available on our Soundcloud page here. For this and other complete podcasts of The Michael Dukes Show, go to the Show’s Soundcloud page here.
