The Weekly Top 3 (5.27.2019)

Welcome to The Weekly Top 3 — our look at the top 3 things on our mind this week — for the week of May 27, 2019.

The Weekly Top 3 is a regular weekly segment on The Michael Dukes Show. The Show broadcasts on FacebookLive and via streaming audio from the Show’s website weekdays from 6-8am. I join Michael weekly on Tuesday’s show, from 6:20-7am, for a discussion between the two of us about the three issues.

This week our Top 3 turned into 4: 1) why the #akleg’s current efforts to change the PFD is just spinning its wheels (at 2:04), 2) we believe the Governor SHOULD be calling out individual legislators (16:24), 3) a substantial transfer from the earnings reserve account to the Permanent Fund corpus is fiscally irresponsible (25:08), and 4) some positive news from the oil & gas patch (31:00).
